Biophysics - Bionics and Our Biophysical Future

Would you support the development of a "bionic" person?

Yes & No. I'm willing to say Yes because there are pros and cons to every new technology. A "Bionic" person is a fully functional robotic human impersonator. Will this Bionic person ever become a person or will it be a dilemma, similar to what we see in sci-fi movies where the robot appear to think like a human, have feelings and emotions like a human, and carries a conscience to know what is right and what's not independently?

Yes, because as ironic as it may sound... it may help to advance the human race. The technology that can be assembled into a "Bionic" person can be used to assist people with disabilities or improve regular people's lives. But...

But.. No because the negative that comes with technology... When are we going to stop... There is a movement towards Transhumanism... a combining of humans and robots... What is the end goal? Not be a conspiracy theorist.. but what if we have all the parts to build and assemble a Bionic person.. will we want to change out all our parts for the sake of what's Bigger.. Better.. Faster... Something that may exceed the biological timeline for our bodies... If our arms.. break down.. go buy some new arms... If the legs... get a new pair.... Will our bodies be a assembly and creation of various companies and industries.... Will be stop at the "human head" as being on the only non-Bionic or artificial part? Or will technology and innovation want to switch that out too? I think the trend is.. go farther and above and beyond all frontier. The question of the mind and soul will be questioned. What if we can displace or transfer what we called the mind or soul out of a human being and into Machines???? Ghost in a machine... Just a thought.

Acupuncture as effective energy medicine... Interesting. Yes, I believe the human being is a system of electricity and pulses. By stimulating various points and areas in the body.. it can affect the energy in our body. The agree with the Chinese Acupuncture system and point locations that was discovered and practice over thousands of years to bring healing to the human body. Go Acupuncture!!

Kirlian Photography?.. 2 words and a exclamation mark... Man, skeptic!

So what if someone took a picture with a special camera with a imaging program or software and scammed everyone??? Possibility? Yes, Photoshop. Or let me download an app on my smartphone... x-ray vision sounds good.. or how about this one here with kirlian photography app...

I'm just kidding ;).. I'm not sure what I think about it. Is the images really an bio-field or aura of a person or object? Does a person or object exhibit psychic energy? I'm aware that this photography technique was created by amateur inventor and electrician named Seymon Kirlian. In the beginning, the experimental process was simple and to interpret it as something so deep such as a machine that captures auras or bio-fields of a person or object can be a little far-fetch... it could be a parlor trick like an old fashion photo special effect app? What about the acupuncture points that were brightest? I'm not sure about this... I will have to see it. Would be interesting.. Not sure why there no recent research on this....

I know I'm a living system because "I'm!". Man, I have to give a reason too? Its cool. I can begin with my brain fizzing chemically as I think about what to write... to my eyes gazing tirelessly at my computer screen as my little brain magnificently interpret what I'm seeing... to my mind simultaneously and instantly instruct my fingers to tap and type on my keyboard. Man.. what is that smell? My nose appears to be working as a person with a distinct smell walks pass... Man, my music is a little too loud.. Hip Hop! Christian style.. Da' Truth - Heartbeat. That Bass bumping up in my ear... thriving on this music... Yes... I'm alive... Don't even got to try... throw up my hands like I don't careeee.... hold on.. I'm on the train. Amtrak style..

I guess all systems a go. I'm living.
